Does anybody know how much weight initially is lost at the beginning of a diet thats just liquid? I know it must vary individually, and depending on personal weight, but i'm curious as to an average loss :) Thanks.

Liquids, just like any other foods, contain a varying number of calories. If you live on milk-shakes, I doubt you will lose a lot of weight.
Popular diets where you only drink vegetable soups / fruit juice make you lose a lot of weight initially, but the loss is mainly water (because it is a very low-salt diet) and, sadly, muscle, because of the lack of protein.
It can be a way to break bad eating habits for a couple of days before starting a healthy, long-term diet.

That depends on so many factors. Just keep doing the right things, and it will all work out. It's common to lose quite a lot the first week, and then gain a bit back, and it's due to food choices, nutrition level, hormones, exercise, etc.
