Well...I guess there's no harm in posting on here. Hello everyone...I'm new to the site. I just joined a couple of days ago...and my boyfriend and I officially began to count calories on the 29th of December.
I'm finding it hard to figure out what is low cal and what isn't....and I don't want to give up taste and fulfillment - I'm not the kind of person who's going to give up eggs and toast for granola!
So its nice to kind of putter around on here and put in random foods I enjoy eating and see how many calories they are.
I've always been a big girl, and my boyfriend has always been big as well. We tried Atkins last year...lasted for 3 months before I caved and needed the carbs. So now we're giving this a shot....its actually not so bad, though I hate the feeling of hunger. Yesterday was the first day in the near week since we started that I was under my calories goal....so I think its going to be slow going.
Anyways...its better to be trying, right?
