Southwestern Black Bean Soup

3 cups cooked, cubed boneless/skinless chicken breast
2 cans black beans (no salt added)-do not drain
1 can Mexican-style corn, drained
1 small tomato, diced finely
1 seeded, finely chopped jalapeño pepper
1 ½ tsp. chili powder
¾ tsp. minced garlic
¼ tsp. black pepper
A pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients together in large pot. Stir well, cook at medium-low heat for 3 hours or until beans are tender. Serves 6. Calories per serving: 267.
