Help- can't get recipe or food calculator to work

When I try to enter a recipe or use calculator it takes me to the MFP data base.
when its says add ingredient, i click on it & takes me to data base there is no place that lets me enter anything :huh: Is there anyone that could help me please?

    You have to search the ingredients and add them from the food database. I'm hoping that is what you're talking about. I tried just now, and it worked for me.
