    It's just a way to mark the post so it's in your topics and it also brings the topic back to the top of the list.

    It moves a topic to the top of the timeline/forum.

    Some people also use it as a way to subscribe to certain threads.

    For people that don't have time to read posts now they 'bump' the thread, which means they can find it in "My Topics" to read later. Hth!

    just tags a thread so you can find it again in your "My Topics"

    Also "bumps" a thread so the thread basically goes up on the page
