My son is Jack David (David is my dad's name).
My daughter is Maya Leoncia (Leoncia was my grandma's name, she died in 2010).

If I have any more kids, I like Nicole, Arianna or Jessica for a girl and Noah for a boy.

    Christopher David
    Ireland Christine

Why would you name your child after a country?
Jordan, Georgia, Israel ... There are probably a ton more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

    Also, Erin means Ireland.
    Weird people, those Americans :noway:

I'm a secondary school teacher in England - I have taught a Dakota, a China and a Savannah!

I have 2 names picked out if I ever decide to have children. If I have a boy he will be named Jackson Patrick (there will be no shortening of the first name whatsoever so no calling my son Jack). If I have a girl she will be named Georgia Belle (my great grandmother was named Belle and I love the name Georgia I thought it goes good together).

    Girl:
    Kara Jane

    Boy:
    Conner Sterling
    Alexander Luthor
    Samuel Guy
    Dean Jason

Those are just the ones the hubs and I have been throwing around

    Lex Luther? Really?

My son is Zachary Dallas. We'd like another child...I'd like to incorporate Jasper as a middle name but it depends what my husband says. For a girl I'd like to use Rosa as it was my MIL name but possibly as a middle name or extended like Rosalie or Rosalinda or Rosalin or something like that. I really like Kieran but my husband is English and says he knows "Too many tossers named that!" So there you go!

I named my kids Shaelen (pronounced SHAE-lenn, NOT shae-LEEN) and Griffin.

Perfect. THIS kid gets to correct everyone who reads their name cause the mom's a pronounciation nazi. Soooooo charming

 only thing worse are parents who purposely misspell their child's name and then freak out when people can't spell it right on the first try. Drives me nuts. Nobody's going to spell your kid's name as Mykael when it's really Michael, I wish people would understand this!

Thank you. I hate it when parents do this crap in the name of creativity.

I mean... I have a very odd name with multiple ways of spelling but thats because the name is an arabic name so in translation there are many possibilities. But I see these odd spellings of regular and just go...why? Just have a unique name rather than a unique spelling...

I always wanted to name a daughter McKenna, Hope, or Ainslee. I have three boys so I haven't gotten to use those names. Boys names are always so much harder for me to pick.

When I had m y son and told the midwife his name was Jack she actually asked me 'and how are you spelling that?'. Um, the normal way, J-a-c-k! They must be so used to weird and wonderful spellings of normal names!

As a teacher we do hear some odd names!

I like reading these. Some very unique name ideas out there.

    Girl- Mya Lynn

Boy- Luke...my fiance's name is chad and he wants that to be our son's middle name, but i don't think it sounds good with any other first name.

Lilah is 8 months old . . .she was named by her other grandmother who has since passed away. While in hospice she told my DIL that the baby would be a girl and to name her Delilah, after the song (Hey There Delilah), which neither my son nor DIL liked at all. As she progressed in her pregnancy they did like the name shortened to Lilah. . . and the middle name Rae is my DIL's middle name :)

Of course I have to be biased to my kiddo's as well:

    Katie Marie
    Hannah Lynn
    Megan Irene
    Leah Kay
    Aaron Michael

** I always wanted to change my name (Shannon) to Kelly -- still love that name as well!

Sometimes I wish that I had more girls. :( Girls are so much fun to name! Love your kiddos names!

My daughter is Mya but it's spelled Maya (the Spanish way).
I forgot I also like Luke for a boy.
