Good afternoon y'all, some quick notes. I was always thin, 5'9" at about 140 pounds, but then I quit smoking back on January 16th almost a year ago. In March, I started in Taekwondo to at least keep me limber. My age has brought about some health issues (fun fun, the great rebellion of the body), so on days I don't go to Taekwondo, I'll be hitting the gym. I am now knocking on 200 so I started this buddy fitness page today because I have to do something. I'm pretty bummed about the BMI, but it's all in baby steps so I just have to get through it. The holidays really did me in and I'll be paying for it for a while. Buddies would help. Around me, everyone's too busy to do the gym thing, and I really hate going alone (hence the martial arts...a group thing), but I know I have to go. I can't fight it any more.
