Hi all, I am a young female in a loving relationship looking to improve my health and tackle my inner struggle with food and body image. While I am looking to change my body, I also want to change my mindset about so many different things: Food, guilt, body image and how it relates to my relationship, self-worth, lifestyle, etc. I want to change the way I live my entire life! Here's a little bit about me and weight loss in general:
Current Stats:
Age - 22
Height - 5'4
Weight - 156
Goal Weight: 119
Previous weight loss attempts: 1203958394563456
Previous weight loss successes: 0
After high school and a series of different events I went from 128 to 174, at my highest. I naturally dropped back down to the 150-160 range after changing my environment, but that was not through deliberate healthy eating and exercise. While I look and feel much better than I did at 174, I still am very out of shape and don't carry my weight well. I am about 155 but look about 15 lbs heavier.
I have noticed that over the past year my insecurity about my body has taken over my life. I am intimidated and jealous of thin women I see and often fear that my incredible boyfriend compares me to other women, even though he has never been anything but loving and supportive. I often get jealous and take it out on him, and I hate that. This is one of the many things I want to change about myself over the course of my journey. He is the most important thing in my life and I want this change to benefit us both.
