A new person has started at my work, a tmeporary contract, and her has a problem with me, he does not like me, winds me up, then calls me a strop if I responds. We used to be all such a friendly group, i find it horrible. Plus I find him a bit of a threat to my role in thr group as i used to be the only man. and he is really slim and nice looks etc and i think that furthers it, and makes him more distainful. Or maybe I am being paranoid. IDK. Today was the worst because I felt he was being judgemental of me (OK, i am maybe too senstive) and got cross and the boss said my response was not really appropriate. Now I feel awful. I also have a couple of other stresses and i just cant deal well with this. Just wanted to get that off my chest

I have a new colleague who, despite being nice, has also completely changed the dynamics in our department. I hope it gets better soon.0

It is really difficult especially when it is just a small team. He is probably feeling his way, which is why he may appear disdainful. Has he had to move to take this job, or is it a new area. He could be a real support for you, and maybe you can find a way to get to know him a bit better, and help him adjust!
Good luck!0
