this simple??

if I just go to the store when I go shopping, stay on the outer perimeter of the store and pick healthy things, stay under my caloric goal, get a workout d.v.d, like a dance video and do it everyday, could I lose weight?? and for cravings and stuff I would make fruit smoothies or eat frozen fruit,.?

Don't exercise daily, your body needs rest days. To limit cravings base all your meals around lean protein, healthy fats, fibre and water dense foods like low sugar fruits and non starchy vegetables. Anyone who doesn't have a confounding health issue can lose weight by burning more calories than they eat.

Well, I know that shopping the outer isle of the store have better whole foods like fruit, vegetables, meats, and dairy. Staying under your calorie goal and getting in some exercise is a great way to start losing weight. I'm not sure what you mean with the fruit, I always buy canned fruit because I don't eat enough for it to be worth buying fresh and I don't have a freezer.

One of the outseide aisles of my grocery store is the alcohol aisle. The frozen foods section is in the middle. So is the natural and organic foods section. That said, your overall premise is good.

Eat lightly processed fiids from all aisles of the grocery store.
Eat below your TDEE but above your BMR.
    Exercise for health.
Treat yourself once in a while.
    Take it slow.
    Smile a lot.
