What is the best exercise to do without buying expensive exercise equipment?
This has probably been asked a hundred times, my apologies.
I was thinking Jumping Jacks and just Walking.

Also good are squats, lunges, stretches, any exercise that you can push against the wall or the floor helps, too0

Most of the videos from www.fitnessblender.com can be done with little to no equipment.
For example http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/exercise-detail/Bodyweight-Upper-Body-Workout-At-Home-Upper-Body-Workout-for-Lean-Muscles/c8/
Most of the interval training ones are a combination of squats, jumps, punches, kicks, etc. This site is seriously great for burning calories.0 -
I use Insanity, i also use resistance bands they arent that expensive about $30 american currency. I also have done Jillian micheals 30 day shred all you need are some hand weights they around about $10 a piece and the dvd is about $120

May I recommend a couple of excellent exercise manuals:
You are your own gym, and
Convict Conditioning
Both take you from little to massive strength gains through incremental bodyweight exercises.
The only equipment you will need will be a pull-up bar and handy to have a set of resistance bands if you can't do a pull-up yet.
Welcome to real strength!0 -
I do Jillian Michaels DVDs and you only need handweights for those.
Also here are some great workouts on youtube I sorted with the tag "no equipment"

I did INSANITY and that doesn't require any equipment. I still do some of those workouts sometimes.
I also run a lot, and I generally do all my running outside.0 -
