Does anyone have a fav recipe that doesn't call for oil, or at least not too much?

I slice cucumbers, and soak them in a bowl of vinegar with some ground pepper and a couple spoonfuls of minced garlic? Is that what you mean?
Never heard of putting oil on that.0 -
In the summer, we slice cucumbers and onion and soak them in salt water in the refrigerator for 1-4 hours. Dump out half the salt water. Add vinegar. Super yummy!0

I love them with a bit of vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, fresh black pepper and just a hint of sesame seed oil. You can sprinkle them with a bit of toasted sesame seeds also... Soo good, tastes like a Japanese salad.0
