is myfitnesspal wrong?

why do i feel as though myfitnesspal saying that my goal for total carbs as 234 grams is way too high?

    you can change it - goals, custom, set the percentages you like

    MFP sets your carbs at 55%. You can change it.

    I've always thought that too. I just can't hit that many carbs without feeling grossly deprived of protein. I eat more protein. It's all about the calories followed by 'what feels good.'

    I changed mine to 20% to fit my goal. 55% is pretty standard unless you have insulin issues though.
  • Each individual body has its own unique metabolism. I think this is a good tool to get started, but you really have to go a lot more by what feels right! Do you feel bloated? Relax on the foods that make you feel that way. Do you feel hungry? Eat something.
