Polar Heart Rate Monitor - battery question

Hiyas all,

I have a Polar F11 - it won't upload data to the polar site (seems quieter? not sure though), but seems to be fine otherwise..... so my question is - when do you know it's time to change the battery? Are there signs ahead of time, or does it just go completely dead?

Has anyone just gone to a jeweler to change it (or walmart?) or did you bite the bullet and just mail it in? I sooooo don't want to be without it for a few weeks, much less a few days. I am an HRM addict, and a MFP addict, heaven save me...

Thanks in advance!

 :flowerforyou:

I hope someone can answer this because I was wondering the same thing. Mine keeps jumping to higher heart rates when I know for a fact it shouldn't have been that high.

my dh has a polar f6 and went to a jeweler to have the battery changed. it was cheap and quick, but they said they can no longer guarantee that it's waterproof.
