My scale says I have a 43% muscle mass. is this normal??

    Unless you believe that you have 57% bodyfat, I'd say it's highly inaccurate.

    You could have 43% body fat, but if your profile pic is you, it's unlikely. It's also possible that the 43% you saw was your hydration level... my scale does body fat and hydration. My hydration hovers between 45 and 50%.
