HI everyone,
I am hoping that a few people might be interested in being "weight loss pals". I need motivation and inspiration from time to time and would love to be able to help others out in there time of need also.
A little bit about me.
I am 5'5" and weigh 240lbs ( my heaviest 3 years ago was 265).
I have joined numerous weight loss things ( LA weight loss, weight watchers, curves, different gyms) all with little success but then gained it back.
This time I would like to loose the weight for GOOD and keep it off.
I have been overweight my whole life, and would like to change things up. I want to be fit for my sons so I can play with them and do sports and activities with them.
I am currently following the Weight Watchers Points Plus system as well as working out at least 30 mins a day (either on the elliptcal or the treadmill) and trying to get some weights in there too. I get 38 Points a day and am staying in that range ( maybe under 1 or 2 at the end of the day) and am VERY satisfied.
Retraining your brain to go for HEALTHY snacks opposed to the sweet or salty junk is alot harder then I remember.
If there is anyone out there that would like to share their story and be an encouragement and receive encouragement then please respond.
