After a solid 2 weeks of doing everything right and not losing anything, I lost 4 pounds last week. A small victory, but I'm pretty jazzed about it!! I am convinced that it is because I left the treadmill behind and bought an elliptical.

Congratulations on the 4 lbs! It's been months since I lost anything cuz I keep going over my calories Arg. I bought an elliptical as well. How do you feel on it? I hurt in my right ankle & arms so I've jumped back on my recumbent bike for a rest:laugh: What kind did you get? It's fun isn't it? I feel though that I have to lean forward & that kinda hurts my back. My husband felt the same way. My Elliptical is a NordicTrack

Keep on doing what your doing.
  • Awww I know how you feel, I lost nothing for 2 weeks then 2lb in 2 days and it feels great. I hate it when you don't lose but it pays to stick in there. Well done and keep it up your doing great.

4 pounds in a week is amazing! Let me know in a week or two if you are still seeing results from the elliptical. We have one, but it seems like every time I get on it consistently for a few days, I gain a couple of pounds. It frustrates me and then I don't get back on for a while.

I love my elliptical but I'm guessing your weight loss came from CHANGING what you were doing! Plus two weeks is a short amount of time to feel stuck AND 4 lbs is a BIG loss for a week! It's a very nice loss for 2 weeks actually! Way to go!
