BACK AFTER ILLNESS

Hi Its been almost 6 months since I was last on the site and making a conscious effort to count calories. I took poorly in September and was unable to do any exercise, and started comfort eating when I was off work sick for 6 weeks. I have almost been given the all clear from the consultant and am feeling loads better now but my immune system was weakened and I am now prone to picking up infections and getting tired quicker, which will hopefully not hold me back too much. Today I woke up knowing today was the day to take control and start doing something about the roles of fat circling round my tummy and the jiggling of fat under my arms and the bloated feeling I have had when going to bed on a night. I don't have loads of weight to lose. I would be lying if I said i was overweight, because I'm not. I only have about 8 lb to lose, but that 8 lb makes the difference from my feeling happy or unhappy about how i feel/look. I would be happy if anyone wanted to be a weight/support buddy, it would be nice to have someone to perk up when they are having a bad day. Started putting my food entries in today and going to do a boxing session with my husband later, so I have definately taken the plunge into getting back in control!!!
