I dont know if its because my child is a "4 legged, spoiled baby boy kitty" that sleeps all day so that makes ME sleepy or if I am just plain lazy...period! But I can not get motivated to exercise! I know, start small... baby steps...and I did! 5 days ago! I have been taping Christian Fitness workout that is on every day and I worked out to it 4 days in a row. Lil sore today but want to keep going but cant seem to get motivated today. Its not on till later so I thought I would go for a walk. Tried to blame it on the snow and ice outside and it would be dangerous slipping on the ice but two older people ( in their 80s) that live down the street just walked by my house. Whats MY problem? <sigh>

you don't have a clear WHY

why is this something you want? why do you feel you should exercise? what do you WANT from it?

    decide what you want

set SMALL goals to get there

    check out nerd fitness.com

watch exercise videos for motivation and guidance

remember that 5 minutes of exercise is MORE than nothing and it adds up fast

Try to find something, preferably 2-3 things, that you enjoy. I'm an odd bird in that I really enjoy working on my stairmaster. So much so that I have my own. I also love cycling.

Doing a workout tape or dvd is death on a cracker.

However, I still have days where I'm tired, busy, or lazy.
