Need exercise ideas with a sore ankle

On Christmas morning I twisted by ankle pretty badly. It still hurts, and I'm taking breaks from walking on it just about every 2 hours. I can't imagine jogging at this point with my ankle hurting the way it does. I really need to do some exercises, but I'm not sure what to do with a sore ankle. Any ideas?

    Do leg exercises such as curls, extensions on a machine. Otherwise you have to let the muscles rest to heal. You can a brace to help support it in the meantime. Soak it in hot water with epsom salts will also help it heal faster. Ibuprofin may help pain and is anti-inflammatory. I also like Tiger Balm and Aspercreme for topicals. Maybe try light cycling if its feeling better but dont push it. You have to give the tendons time to heal.
