Freezing bread and toasting ..

Now, last time I lost weight I hardly touched bread as I'd usually head off to work without breakfast and have an early lunch.
Now I'm at home, I've really got into the routine of eating toast for breakfast, but it's white bread. And I LOVE white bread. I love granary bread aswell, but not for toasting!
With white bread I seem to find a reason to have some, with soup, with casarole, anything liquidy!
I don't want to stop buying it, but I want to stop eating it alot! I just want it for breakfast.
So I hear alot of people freeze there bread & just take it out when they want some!
My question! Do you take it out and toast it straight away or do you have to let it defrost first?

Hi there,
I put it straight in the toaster too. Check to see if you have a "Toast from frozen" button. Some do, as I discovered! An alternative to bread could be wraps? I love bread too but it just bloats me so much.0 -
Yeah I do this a lot too, straight from the freezer into the toaster, Tastes just like fresh bread thats been toasted when its done!0
