Weekly caloric intake vs daily???

I am beginning to add up my calories on a weekly basis, to see my weekly deficit rather than daily. It seems this is an easier way to see the "big picture", and also because some days I'm low on cals, some days higher..

how do you guys do it?

    The one nice thing about the iPhone app is that it has a weekly bar graph of your calories, so that at one quick glance you can tell how your doing for the week

    Doing it this way too. I have tried to eat a little higher 7 days a week and it just doesn't work for me. My will power sucks on the weekends! So eating a little less during the week and a little more on the weekends is working for me.

    yes sometimes I over eat by 200-300 cals on one day and then I remember I have the whole week to even it out :) It puts things in perspective for me.

    I wish I had the iphone app for this dangit!
