Hello, I am just starting with MFP and am committing to being diligent for the next 3 months on here. I am normally NOT a journaler, so keeping track of all the food I consume will be the trick. BUT I pledge to do so! I have been running/training for a 5K for the last 8 weeks and haven't seen but 2lbs go away. I am still exercising though. I used to eat what ever I wanted up until my early 30's, because I was always active. And now I am not nearly as active, so the eating has caught up with me. UGH!

But, I am here trying to get things back into control. I am currently 158 and my ultimate goal would be 120...but my first goal is to be 150 by April 7th....so I will be watching what I eat...and making sure I excercise consistantly, adding in strenghthening...

anyway, and we are off....let the tracking and losing beginning.

Newbie here as well!! Use to be VERY ACTIVE in gym, but in the last 4 years (2 kids later), NO time for gym. I bought treadmill for home and have free weights/bench just gotta stick to it. This program is DEFINATELY going to help!!! First day on here and found out homemade stuffed shells not very healthy....what??? LOL Best of luck Rene with your 5K and weightloss!! TQ
