New and Needing Support/Help

Hello, I am new to myfitnesspal.com. I joined this site with a friend back in spring 2012, but haven't given it a lot of attention until New Year 2013. I am 24 years old and a recent college graduate. I was really sick from December 2010 to November 2011 with some stomach issues. During that time period, I lost about 65 to 70 pounds. While getting sick wasn't the best way to lose weight, I was happy with my weight loss because I have been overweight pretty much my entire life (since I was eight years old). Well, starting in December 2011 to present day (January 5, 2013), I have gained all of my weight back plus an additional 10-20 pounds. I am looking for some support, and suggestions on how to lose weight in a healthy manner (and keep it off). Any suggestions that anyone has are helpful to me. If you follow me at missskylar, I will follow you back.
Thank you,
Skylar
Thank you,

Since the way you lost weight sounds like it included what, essentially, was a very low calorie diet, I'd recommend you click on "Groups" up top ^^ and search "Eat More to Weigh Less". Because of the added weight gain over and above what you lost, it sounds like your metabolism took a hit and you need to do a reset... check it out!0
