Hello all. I'm a new mommy to a beautiful 4 month old baby boy! Although I knew better having been successful in losing 60lbs in the past, I took full advantage of my pregnancy and ate whatever I wanted. Now I want to get healthy for my little one, not to mention lose the baby weight before I get pregnant again. Any mommies out there that have advise for a new mommy that is trying to work off the baby weight?

I'm in a similar boat. I have a five year old and a once year old. I never lost the baby weight with the first before I had the second so I have double the work to do! Friend me if you like, I just started here three days ago and really like the community support from other moms.0

I'm a first time mommy to a gorgeous 6 month old baby girl:) I lost almost everything I gained during pregnancy, but I was over weight before getting pregnant. Even so my body definately doesn't look like it did before and I still don't fit into my pre pregnancy jeans. So that's my first goal, just to fit back into my pants!0

Thanks ladies! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and sharing our experiences while we working getting healthy and taking care of out beautiful babies!
Any struggles that you ladies have notices so far? I know my big issue it getting activity in just because when little man is taking naps I have so much to do or I'm so tired that I really want to just take a nap with him.0 -
After having my first child and losing all the weight, I went crazy with food during my second pregnancy thinking I would bounce back just like I did the first time. Man O' Man was I wrong. I'm at my highest weight ever & my baby is now 3. I just cant seem to get back on track. Feel free to add me!0

Thank you for sharing Sharita. Maybe (if everyone is up for it) we should all set the same small goal for the week or month or whatever. We can all make suggestions based on our own struggles. This way we can all master something that we struggle with and or also excel in something that we are good at. Either way we will building our confidence or encouraging someone else. just a thought. :happy:0

Feel free to add me.I have a 9 yr old,2 yr old and 16 week old.Losing baby weight is the hardest but it can be done. It's just a long journey and we need to be patient and kind to ourselves.
It takes 9 months to put it on,so it'll take time getting it off.Good luck to you0 -
Hi
You can add me if you want. I did it backwards and put on weight after my son was born. He's now 2 .0 -
Hi, please feel free to add me. I have a 3 1/2 yr old and have found it hard to lose the weight mostly because I've found it difficult to get back into my old eating / excercise routine, and yes I did eat a lot when I was pregnant.0

I am in the same boat. I had my 4th c-section 4 months ago, and have a very healthy little man During my pregnancy I packed on too much weight, as I was using food to self medicate to deal with some serious stress in my life. Now that my son is a little older, I am needing to put some time aside for myself and try and lose the weight that I gained. I have lost 60+ lbs in the past, but I am nursing and struggle to maintain my supply so I have to be really careful how I go about loosing the weight. Any suggestions or support would be greatly appreciated!0
