I want to share my recipes but don't know how it works..

I am a chef by trade and I just joined MFP and I have a dilemma... I was just curious if there was a way to share my recipes that I created and have them open to view the same way as it's open to view my diary? Would be nice.. because I do know that once my recipe is added to my diary, friends say it is clickable, but says they can't edit, so it seems no one can view what I really ate for that recipe in particular. Makes it pointless in my opinion to have it this way. Thanks in advance and hope to share many recipes for the community in the near future. Add me if you want ;) Thx

You could post them to one of the forum groups. For example, the Happy Herbavores group has a recipe section. It's kind of tedious, though, because people just reply just like I'm doing here so there's a long line of recipes with no index in no particular order. I put a few on there but I don't know if anyone actually did anything with them...I don't think that MFP has a good function for this right now. It would be great if it did. I would love some of your receipes and share some of mine...maybe post them to your blog section and tell your friends to go there for some?
If this is really something you like maybe consider starting a blog outside of MFP? You could then share with the whole internet and direct us there for inspiration.
I wish I had a better answer, Cheers! :flowerforyou:
