Wii active/fit

Does anyone use Wii active or Wii fit? I have both and am just starting another 30 day work out on the active. Just wondering if anyone else has had much success with losing any weight with it?

    It depends on your level of fitness. If you are new to working out, it could work.
    whatever you do to lose weight, your body needs to be challenged more or in different ways than before.

    I lost weight with it in the past, but mostly it tracked my weight. I think most of it was lost with riding my bike and other workouts.
    running, boxing, and hula hoop burned the most calories. I had the wii fit plus. without weights to work with the controller.

    My wife lost some weight with wii fit.

    What seemed to do the most was the running and the hulahooping as well.

    She started from the tiny little runs to doing 30 minutes at a time, and actually got a slight overuse injury on her foot!!

    She had knee issues for YEARS, and they've now virtually disappeared.


    Honestly WHATEVER gets you motivated, and gets your heart rate up to 60% of it's max or better is GOOD CARDIO!!

    I love my Wii fit games. I do the yoga in the morning and the strength training and aerobics when I get home. When I jogged the island lap I almost cried. I've only been doing it for a week, but I already feel better. I'm also dancing with my son and husband to Just Dance. In addition to this I'm working out with Jillian Michaels on YouTube (now on Wii)! Best of luck and have fun working out.
