Well, this spring I turn the big 4-0, and I decided it is time to get truly serious. My goal is to drop 40 pounds in honor of my 40th brithday. The big day is in early May, so I don't expect to reach the goal then (I am aiming for 1-1.5 pounds per week) then, but I would love it to happen in my 40th. Most people don't think I have to lose 40, but, I am tall (6') so I can hide the extra weight well.
I am finding it easy [so far] to get back on track with logging my food and making smart choices. I do let myself induldge in a daily "treat" or two, but I build it in.
This week I get back in the exercise groove. I used to be so devoted, and then things changed.
Good luck, everyone!
