Spring semester starts tomorrow... help!

So tomorrow I start classes for the spring semester and Mondays happen to be the worst as I will be in class from 8 am to 4:30 pm. I then have a break from 4:30 to 5:20 then back in class until 7:35 pm. One glance at my diary will tell you I live on fast food. I really need some ideas on what to take with me on Mondays. I have access to a microwave and could take a cooler if need be. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

What ingredients do you have? Nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, canned beans or lentils, canned oily fish, eggs, dairy?
  • I am also a student who has had a heavy course load and lived on fast food. What I have learned to do was buy some turkey that way I could make my lunch before leaving my house for school and packed along an apple or some sort of fruit to eat before class that way my hunger was curbed until I began feeling hungry again. Since doing that, I have learned to control my fast food habits.

Hope this helps you and the best of luck with your spring semester.
  • Make wraps! Whole wheat pita bread, grilled chicken breast, some hummus or tzatziki sauce, bell peppers, cucumbers, etc etc. If you've ever been to Pita Pit, just steal ideas/ingredients from them. Also, you could make a big meal on the weekend (curry, chili, etc) and bring some leftovers to school. In a way, Monday is the best day to have a busy schedule, because any food you take time to make on Sunday will still be fresh and delicious come Monday afternoon/evening!

Thanks for the advice! I don't have any ingredients right now and really don't know how to cook. I'll be making a grocery run this evening.
