I wear a pedometer daily and wonder of there is any formula to convert steps to minutes so I could record this in my daily journal? I tries to google this topic and didn't find much. Thanks.

Your pedometer should have a measurement of minutes....or you could wear a watch.0

Total steps divided by 1440 (total minutes in a day)?0

Yes, your pedometer should have time or you can reference a watch. I wouldn't rely on any formula. I walk very slowly and pace is an individual thing. You should use how many minutes you walked/ran/moved.0

I guess I should have been more clear; I wear a pedometer every day and total the # of steps walked, usually it's about 6,000 during the course of the day. So I don't really have a time associated to it. I just wondered if there was a converter out there that converted # of steps to minutes so I can record it as exercise.0
