I've heard so many times that bread is not good for a diet. Even whole wheat bread and crackers. Is this true? Should I stay away from it? Can I eat it every once and a while?
Also is there such thing as eating too many carbs, good carbs that is, as long as I eat enough protein and fat and stay at my cal intake?
Also, is it a bad thing that I LOVE natural peanut butter so much??

My staple used to be rice, and now I have substituted it with whole wheat or whole grain breads. I also love the Jacob's high cal low salt crackers, which I sometimes eat with unsweetened peanut butter or with tuna.
As long as your meet your required carb intake for the day, I don't see this as a problem for me. I don't eat bread everyday though, but at least 4-5 times a week. I feel i need the carb esp. on days when I do cardio. On days I do strength, I up my protein intake.0 -
I have been using Sara Lee 45-calorie 100% whole wheat bread.. it's 45 cals per slice! serving size is 2 slices for a total of 90 cals.. No more open faced sammie for me!0
