New Year Goals

Hello All,
So, I realized that I have not followed through with most of my new year goals. Here we are beginning our 3rd month of 2010 and I still drink diet coke, I'm going to Taco Bell more then once a month, and a few other things on my list. Are there any pals out there who want to begin March like we began the new year with me? Look at our goals and start over March 1st? I will do it either way, but it's always more fun with friends :flowerforyou:

    I looked at our website to see how I did on mine. You know it's bad when you forget what they were!! and I'm slacking too...I especially felt the slacking during this past month! So yes, I def need a fresh start! I'm right there with you!

    I'm totally in! I was doing so well in the beginning of the year, but February seemed to knock me on my but a little. I think March 1st sounds like the perfect time to start a new year! :happy:

    Cool, I'm not alone :happy: Did you want to share any of your goals? I've already done no soda today, that's huge for me.

    yep, I'm in! I gotta get back on track with my eating!!! i gotta get back into lifting weights! I've slacking alot on that..just mainly doing cardio. and I also need to stop spending money and start saving money!

    I hear ya' on all of that. I've been doing cardio because I want to loss as much weight as I can before my vacation. I need to stop spending. I just entered some stuff from Feb into my checkbook and I'm pretty sure I went to Starbucks every day last week. not good!!!
    How should we do this? I thought it was a good idea, but don't know really how we can motivate each-other to keep it up.

    Let's see...I guess I really just need to get back on my exercise routine. I was going to the gym almost every day for a while, and now I just go once in a while. I need to remind myself of how good I felt when I got done with a good workout!

    Why don't we each pick our number one goal and focus on that for the month of March? Mine would be no soda :sad:

    wow...i gotta pick one!?! um...don't wanna sit up and talk about money problems, that just stresses me out and gives me the anxiety...so i'll go with a weight loss problem i have issues with! hhhmmm.....fast food!!!!!!! yep, that's it!! mcdonalds, zaxbys, taco bell, sonic, burger king. Even though I have drastically cut them out of my diet. I still eat fast food once a week. even if its just some mcnuggets or something. I want to completely cut them out! enless its a salad!

    I'm in:smile: Mine was to loose weight and go to the gym have a membership and haven't even been a dozen times since the new year.:grumble: I have lost 7 lbs. but that isn't very good in 2 months.:sad: I weigh in on Fridays. I need to get off my tush and get busy.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    :happy: Well my Nephew was able to go to school today his fever broke. SO today I am going to head off to the gym to get back on track.:drinker: Did good on my calories yesterday and played on the WII with him for about a hour that is a workout never really played it before so didn't realize how tired you get.:blushing: He got it for Christmas guess I should have tried it before.

    Well, I was forced to go to fast food yesterday (sorry Kim) but I did not order a diet coke, I ordered a DP and gave it to my hubby. i'm not sure what the McDonalds gods were doing (either helping my husband or torturing me) but we ended up with a DP and a diet coke. I resisted and was very proud of myself.

    Kim, I hear you on the FF my goal is one time a month, I guess that was yesterday. I really wanted to be able to say I haven't eaten fast food since 2009. Even if it fits in the cals it's still not good for us.

    Aisser, I joined the gym in Jan and went quite often but right now I like doing my Jillian DVDs. I need to get back. I feel so much more motivated when I watch all these old people working out and kicking some butt. Did you make it?

    Kathy, how are the snacks? Have any you want to share? I need more fruit and veggies in my diet.

    So far so good for me!!! I've ate at home every night this week. I had Applebees for lunch today because it's my birthday, but that's not fast food ;) and I ate healthy there so all is well!

    Good job Kim. Did you get the 500 cal meal thing? Are you enjoying Kim-a-polosa??

    Um....so far for snacks....I got them cookie dough at Papa Murphy's and baked them cookies...hahaha not so good. But it was a reward for an AWESOME day at school (So proud of my munchkins!). Going grocery shopping this weekend for new snacks...any ideas?

    :sad: Yes I made it to the Gym but had to leave was only there for 8 minutes on the tread mill. I got a phone call to go to the center to help teach a linedance class. It is about a 90 minute class so i got in my exersise in just not at the gym. I am going to try going to the gym again tomorrow morning.
    I didn't do good with my meals today had fried chicken but was still under my calorie goal with my extra calories from my dance class.
