Well, I did it. I'm shocked, surprised, and a tad bit impressed with myself. I didn't go over in my calories at all even with eating out. Wanted dessert, but as we were about to get it, I realized it was 9 p.m. and decided to pass and was perfectly fine with that. So that's 5 nights cutting off my time and 5 days of eating within my calories.

lulabelle :flowerforyou: - for the 5 days out of 5, staying the under calories, but mostly for skipping dessert! Impressive.
Same admiration goes to rosemary :flowerforyou:, teetee :flowerforyou: and Zaza :flowerforyou:. Well done, ladies! How's everyone else? Sorry if I missed anyone :blushing: .
Rosemary, I do think it does even out in a sense - for one, you trick your body into thinking that today it's going get as many calories as yesterday, so it can start full gear and then at the end of the day, it would turn out that it acutally burned more than you have fueled it

I failed last night :embarassed: . Sorry to be the black sheep :embarassed: - at least one thing is for sure: I am NOT giving up  .

dewdrop - sometimes just not giving up is 90% of the challenge. So consider yourself successful. The other 10% will come. Keep it going like you always do.

Well, I guess I will be starting my numbers over tomorrow. Today, I did not get home until 8pm because I spent the afternoon out in town trying to get a dress made for the ball. I only had 1/2 cornish hen roasted which was pretty good. I originally had my dinner planed to a "T" but when you stuck out until 7pm, you realized that you don't want to cook, so you stop and pick up something that is quick and somewhat healthy.

Better luck to everyone else. Have a great day! I'm going to bed.

teetee - don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like you made healthy food choices even when you got home later. I consider that a success. And a yummy cornish hen at that.

For me, I'm 6 nights now, which is amazing for me. Couldn't get to the gym, but counted my mad cleaning calories yesterday because my house was filthy and I literally ran around for 1.5 trying to get it clean for company that came over. Wore my HRM. Who knew cleaning could burn so many calories. Might have to do it more often  So I'm also 6 days in a row without going over my calories, which is truly a MIRACLE.

Hope you all are doing well. Let's hope we can keep it up for Sunday. Cutoff tonight, 7:30.

I'm in for 6 nights. Someone today asked me if I had a new dress on. I said no just that I had lost some weight and it fit better. I didn't have to wear a jacket to coverup the bulges. Someone at work on Thurs. said my face looked slimmer. I owe much to you all for being so encouraging and sharing great ideas. It's nice not to have to go thru all of this alone.

I got my 7/7. Last night was kind of a cheat as I went to bed at 4:30 p.m. as I have been working nonstop all week and last night was the first night I could finally get a decent night sleep. Even at 3 a.m., when the alarm went off, I could have kept sleeping. But here I am. As far as calories yesterday, I think I was within range, although didn't really calculate them that much, but I didn't eat a whole lot. That's how I knew I had to go to bed. When I'm exhausted, even moving food from the plate to my mouth is an effort. Good thing nobody offered to feed me :) So one success week. Let's hope the scale shows it on weigh-in on Tuesday.

Rosemary - that is awesome. doesn't it feel good when people start to notice? You are doing awesome. Let's keep it going next week with the new thread!!!!

Lulabelle: I don't mean to be so hard on myself for eating late, just that, almost immediately after eating, I went to bed and I slept something horrible. I tossed and turned all night long! I was scared it'd happen last night, so I took a sleep aid so I could get a good nights sleep.

Rosemary: It is the best when other people notice your accomplishments and that we don't have to go through this alone. Today someone stopped me and told me they thought I was going to be in the hard body competition that we had. I didn't feel I was up to compete, but he said that I definitely have made a lot of improvement, and a lot of people know me on base would have noticed.:blushing: Maybe next time. :smokin:

As for me yesterday, I ate real early and actually tried something that Lulabelle mentions so much! I ate frozen grapes, and they were like the best thing EVER! So I think I will make that a regular night time snack.

Love this thread! This is exactly me problem. Can get through most of the day fine but once I'm home from the gym I start to nibble which turns into major munching! Today's a new day so I'm going to try my best not to have a binge tonight!

Well I HAVE DONE GOOD UNTIL LAST NIGHT AND WENT OVER MY CALORIES BY 5. I ATE OUT LAST NIGHT BECAUSE AFTER TAKING CARE OF THE HORSES IT WAS TO LATE TO COOK. IT WAS ALMOST 8:30 WHEN WE GOT HOME. I WILL GET BACK ON TRACK TODAY
