Hi, I dnt really have an appetite today so I ate fruits today breakfast and for lunch: 1cup watermelon, 1 apple, 1 plum and a mango with yoghurt but my goal carbs are way over already....
Is this bad or should i not worry about those carbs and sugar coz they come from natural fruits unprocessed? What do i count or look at? is it just total calories?

Currently I just pay attention to calories. I dont think those fruits will hurt. They're better for you and of course better than the alternative of junk processed food. Back when I was doing the 17 Day Diet plan, its a low carb type plan, that allows fruit and I saw good results with that.0

I believe it will be different for each individual. In the beginning for me (303 lbs.) I could eat the carbs and sugars from fruits without it affecting my overall weight loss.
Now that I'm down 70+ pounds, it has been a fighting battle to keep my carbs and sugars in line, which for me seems to be the key in continuing to lose weight. If I want to plateau I'm fine with keeping fresh fruits in abundance, but not for losing.
For losing I have to keep my carbs at or under 150 and my sugars at or under 100.
Good luck. You will find what works for you. Just know that the fresh fruit and veggies are WAY better for your overall health than processed foods.0 -
I've been through a very low carb phase (6 months) and right now I can eat a ton of fruit of all kinds and lose fat.
These days I don't fret the sugar from fruit.
Maybe this would be different had I not 'reset' my system with a period of low carbing, dunno.
Instinctively I don't see the overconsumption of fruit as a problem for good health, way too much good stuff in there to be passing up on a good thing for the sake of avoiding 'sugar'.0 -
I watch my intake a bit cause on the days that I eat a lot of fruit the carbs/sugars add up. WW considers them 'free' but once I added them back in (ie Banana is 3 points, Apple is 1, etc) I started dropping pounds. Even 'free' things have a cost. Just my $0.020

Eat more veggies and less fruit as recommended by most western governments and other authorities.0
