Water?

So, what is actually a glass of water classed as on here? A pint, half a pint?

    Approx 250ml in the UK.
  • It's an American cup which is 236ml in the UK. That defeats me in terms of mental arithmetic, so I work on the following...

1 cup is close enough to 250ml, so 8 per day is about 2 litres, which is the advice we get in the UK anyway
1 pint is 568 ml, so if I have a pint of water (which is normally how I do drink it) I call it 2 1/2 cups

Not exact, but it works for me

Yeah it's just under 1/2 pint per 'glass'. I drink at least 2 litres during the day on non-exercise days and then an extra litre per 45 mins of exercise. I have a 1 litre bottle so I just know I'd done it off of that, plus I do drink extra that I don't log. so it's 8 x 8 US fl.oz per day on the site which is about 1.8l, so 2 and you can log the full amount ;-)

I drink from an 800ml glass and class that as '1 cup'.

    I drink 6 to 8 litres a day!
