Hi Everyone - I joined this site for the ticker in jan, and since getting my iPhone last week and the app for the site, Its SO much more and so helpful. As you can see from my tracker I've lost 16lbs since the start of january, but I have weeks where I can lose 3 or 4, then nothing!
I've joined the gym again, but some days I lack drive. I've started tracking my food too, I can be good for a few days, then binge on bad things, so I'm hoping now its down for all to see, I'll have to behave myself!
Anyways guys and gals, I'm here for any help and support I can find! my main motivation is that when I reach my target weight, My husband and I will try for a child, something I really want and I want to be able to enjoy it!

I am in the same boat as you. Once I hit my goal weight my husband and I are going to try for our second child.0

I found the key to not binging after a few days is not feel deprived while you are tracking your calories. If you are like me, at night I like to have something sweet. So I alter what I eat around having a few extra calories at night to have some slow churned ice cream or Skinny cow fudge bar.
I also found that you can alter the way you prepare foods to make them lower calorie don't feel like you are giving them up.
Make sure you are changing up your exercise routine to keep your body guessing. With having a platou try altering your calories up or down and see if that helps.

Thanks Marm - good luck to you too!
ooh Amber I'm glad you sent a friend request - it'll be good having someone around with simular motivation!
Chenoachem - thanks for the advice! i'll be changing my workout this week, from just cardio to so weights/resistance, and I've started grilling or griddling things I used to fry for a starter! good call on skinny cow - I'll look into them!
thanks again you three!0 -
I am in the same boat as you all! My husband and I are planning on trying for our first child this summer and I really need to shed some pounds before that happens! I just started about a week ago, and lost 2 pounds my first week.0

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since August and while I literally JUST joined this site... my goal is to have a healthier body to carry my child around in and then to maintain and instill healthy nutritional habits in my family as a whole.
Kind of frustrating knowing we're gonna gain weight once we're preggers but I also try to keep in mind that weight lost now will be that much less weight to lose post-natal.
Best of luck to you!!0 -
I couldn't agree more BeautifulDisaster! I also like to think the lower our weight when we do get pregnant, the healthier we'll be, and the more perfect and round looking baby bump we'll have - with less people scared they'll offend us by asking if we're "with child"
good luck to you too hun!0 -
well done MWilson! good luck hon!0
