I had to stop because I had wrist surgery, but I'm hoping at some point I will be able to get back to it.

I'm thinking you might be a REAL rower - were you on a skullery team? There is a huge lake near us where we use the walking trail - on weekends the rowing clubs are out there in full regata and you can hear the races.
I love the machine in the gym - can't believe how it feels to use your entire body to accomplish a pull. Great workout.
