Cardio vs lifting to burn fat

Help guys! I think I am doig pretty well on my weight lifting. I can see muscle in my arms and shoulders and in my legs, which makes me proud! The problem is I have some fat to burn, specially in my waistline and I beileved I could get rid of it just by lifting weights. Guess what...I don't even know if I believe it anymore and I think I will have to start some serious cardio here (which I really hate, by the way).
I understand my diet is under control at least 70% of the time, don't know if it would be the problem.
Was anybody at MFP able to lose the final stubborn fat without cardio??? What did you do???

As long as you eat below TDEE and lift weights, you'll lose fat. Cardio can help, but it's not necessary. It's all about diet - make sure you get adequate protein and don't try to cut too much, too quickly or else you'll lose too much non-fat body tissue too.....
If you're only about 70% on your diet, then you're going to have to tighten that up. If you want the results, you need to have the discipline to find the right numbers and then hit them. Nothing else is going to do it for you, I'm afraid!0 -
Good question. Try doing a few hiit sessions a week for 20 minutes. Cardio doesnt have to be an all day affair. Do it short and fast, much easier to stick to that way and results are amazing. Also try doing supersets to make your weight lifting a cardio session too.0
