Hello everyone!

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I've never considered weight loss to be a social subject, and in signing up for My Fitness Pal I was really just looking for a calorie counter. However, having struggled in many ways with weight loss in the past, I figured why not see if the social part helps!

Anyway, a little bit about me. I'm a graduate student, married to an amazingly supportive man. I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love to be outside.

This whole venture for me is really about lifestyle change more than a short-term diet. I want to be stronger and healthier for many reasons, but know that it will only really happen if I change my lifestyle and my relationship with food.
