It's been a while since I have ridden too. I got discouraged the last time I tried and realized I couldn't get into the saddle anymore without a bucket, stump, or gate to stand on. I am determined now though to get back into shape and get back in that saddle. Tired of being so out of shape.

I started riding last semester at school after doing barnwork with my girlfriend for the past year. This semester I am joining the team and taking real lessons from the barn owner. I'm really excited for it!
  • Hey there,

I'm definitely a horse lover. Feel free to add me if you'd like! My family has 15 horses, they're my life!
  • Hiya!

I have just recently started riding again after a gap of nearly 2 years (I've ridden since I was 5 years old!). My family and I used to have 4 horses but they all had to be sold when my parents split up. Through a friend I have started to ride again and have fallen in love with the gorgeous 16.1hh grey gelding that I mostly ride :)

Unfortunately I piled on the pounds when I stopped riding, and am struggling to lose it - hence why I am on here!! Feel free to add me :)

Hello! I grew up with horses and riding, but am HORRIBLY allergic to them :'( After 3 years now working with an allergist and weekly shots I have that under control (YAAAAY!!!) and last September we just got our kids their own horse, my oldest (7) LOVES horses and is learning to ride, she's such a natural! I'm gettin' back into riding too.. LOVE it! Not sure what the horse is... got some pony in her, maybe some quarter horse... but she's perfect for me and my lil' family. We didn't have any horses of our own before we got Jellybeans for several years, all the other horses we had on the ranch belonged to the hired help, their pen riding horses and cuttin' horses. Feel free to add me!! :)
  • Good Morning! Horses ~ once they are in your blood they are there forever it seems. I raised and showed horses, Quarter & Arabians, growing up and we had a boarding stable which I actively worked. I haven't had my own horse in many years but my love for them has never left. I dream of coming into big money some day and buying a ranch and being able to play with horses all day, every day. I did ride a year ago but my I was so self conscious about my weight for the horse and how I looked on him that it took away alot of the joy. I'm new to this site again after creating an account last year and then not following through. This time is different and I have a great support group. Feel free to add me and I am sure you will accomplish your goals as you've started with the right site!

Hi, Horses are great "kids". My daughter has 11. My horse died about 5 years ago at the age of 28. So we are left with 2 Quarter horses, 1 Appendix Quarter, 1 POA, and 7 Morgans. All are registered (except the POA). The Morgans are all show horses. Cindy did have one World Champion, "Cat" went with her x after the divorce along with 2 other Quarter horses. They are a handful and thank goodness no babies for a few years (had 5 over the years) one of which also won World Champion. I can honestly say mares are easier than geldings or studs. Though we do have one mare that I swear is trans gender or something...too many hormones. LOL.
