Post Kidney Infection Food

Hello all,

I had the recent fortune to come down with a kidney infection--I'm currently on the mend and have been doing my best with the BRAT diet, but am only getting about 400-500 calories a day (which is horrid, I usually count on my exercise calories just to break even). I was looking through post-flu suggestions in the forum, but can anyone recommend a good second step to get more calories without relapsing on the nausea? The antibiotics I'm on recommend that I not consume dairy, so yogurt is out--which was my first thought. I work on a fishing boat, so we have been out of bananas for quite some time--I'm looking for things that are extremely common, since I cannot go out and acquire anything special.
