Resistance bands/tubes for workouts

Hello,
Is anyone using resistance bands/tubes for a workout program?
If so how do you calculate the calorie burn to journal in your exercises.
I bought the Lifeline cables and really want to get the full benefit of these with exercise. I take a beta blocker and it's hard to gauge what my aerobic exercise should be.
Any info will be greatly appreciated and if this has been previously addressed, can you send in that direction.
Thanks Much
Deborah

I have a set of 5 bands from very light to very heavy. I use the heavy one for "monster walks" - band just above the knee and then walk sideways - great for strenghtening your leg muscles.I also do lunges with that and some hip raises. I use the lighter one for shoulder stretch (had rotator cuff injury) and for leg stretches when I dont forget
there are plenty of exercises one can do with the bands - google is your friend0
