You really are not eating much fruit and veg at all - four servings today, none yesterday, two on Saturday - start at breakfast and have two to four at every meal or snack. If you leave it for the evening meal seven to nine is hell. Eat more stir fries, vegetable curries, chilli con carne or Bolognese with veggies hidden, tomato and veg sauce on pasta, soups and smoothies.

It's honestly not that difficult just start in the store - buy fish and real meat with one ingredient not breaded, battered, salted and reformed stuff with a brand name, advertising budget and lengthy lists of chemical additives. Please review your mineral intake - eat more unprocessed wholegrains, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds. Cut the refined/ processed/ sugary/ rubbish down to 10% of daily calories, if you don't have access to junk (not in your kitchen, desk, car and you don't carry cash you don't NEED) you can't eat it.

It depends on your activity level. The Harris Benedict Equation has you with a BMR of 1624. I'm thinking 1650-1700 bare minimum for weight loss.

ETA: I just saw your daily goal is 1690. I think that makes sense to start with. You may find that you want to increase that slightly, but if you are comfortable with that, then stick with it for a month and then re-evaluate. Yes, you are doing well with your food for just starting out. You could go for a few more veggies, but not a bad start. :flowerforyou:

Ok...so start with one small change a week.

When you're comfortable with that one change in your daily life, introduce a new change.

In my example, I started with cutting down soda at work. When I got it down to a good number, I wanted it OUT of my workday completely.

When that was going good, I started eating more vegetables at home. When that became second nature....in comes the next change.

It's difficult to change everything at once, fail, and then too easy to say "screw it, i can't do this"

Change one thing at a time...and move to the next.

    Good luck.
