Questions about Measurments

I don't have any weight to lose, but I am not fit. That's why I've recently joined a gym and am sticking to a great routine. I know the number of the scale may rise due to the growth of muscle and I am fine with that. At least, that's what I tell myself. I've decided to keep measures of my neck, waist and hips (default on MFP) to track my progress. So long as those don't increase, who cares what my weight is. While waist and hips make sense to me, I'm curious about the neck measurement.
I am 5 feet and 2 inches tall and I'm curious what a healthy neck circumference is. Should I be looking for that number to rise or fall with muscle gain?
