The perfect pre-workout!

What does everybody like to use for a pre-workout? For me, I typically stick with 8oz black coffee and a apple, along with a whey protein shake during the workout.

    creatine mono is probably best AFTER the workout. You need that insuline spike with the creatine to get it in the muscles. Apple or grape juice is best.

    Can't eat before workout. But I would have my grande Americano with sugar free vanilla flavor and 8 OZ water with a little flavor.

    either powder Jack or N.O. EX. mostly no food items because it makes me feel weird during workout.

    1/4 lb ground beef with avacado and cheese, 1/2 scoop protein in a cup of coffee, and a red bull total zero. A full stomach and a slight energy buzz helps me stay focused.

    A big *kitten* glass of water. I work out at 4:30 and if I put anything more than water in my stomach that early I'll just throw it up.

    I don't eat pre workout.. it will make me sick.. I drink water.. Usually can't eat right afterwards either.. have to relax a bit.

    My pre-and post workout vary, but generally I eat some combination of carbs (oatmeal, ezekiel bread, quinoa flakes, wheat bran) egg whites, nut butter of some kind (almond, hazelnut, peanut) and of course COFFEE!

    I train pretty hard so I like to have a somewhat substantial pre-workout meal as opposed to a 'snack' about 60-90 minutes before I hit the gym.

    Post workout is either an apple, pear, or caramel rice cakes with a protein shake.
