If I don't complete my diary by pressing the complete button. I get discouraged when it says I will loose x amount and it doesn't happen.

    no it doesn't affect anything. I rarely ever click that.

    usually, if I click it, it is first thing in the morning and I am using the android app and do it on accident and get a bunch of friends asking why I have 2000 calories left for the day!

    When you hit the button to say you are finished for the day your friends get a message on the newsfeed. That invites feedback and keeps you on our mind.:happy:

    If you want to hit it and see what it says you can always go right away to the news feed and delete the post if you don't want any comments on that day for whatever reason.
