So I've just ordered a Thermimix and it'll be here in 2-4 weeks. I can't wait for it to show up so I can start to test it out. Wondering if there are any other MFP users out there who want to share low cal/carb recipes.

I'm excited to try making my own yoghurt, hummus (and other dips), sorbet, soups and sauces. I'm hoping to play around with some of the recipes on the website and in the cookbook to make them diet friendly and am happy to share my results

It's a bender right? Sweet, nothing like a well designed blender. Let us know how you like it.

It's a blender that cooks as well. You can also steam and do heaps of other things such as mill your own flour and knead bread. It's like a turbo blender that chops, sautes, steams, kneads, mills, crushes ice, stirs while cooking and can be used to make soups and curries in no time at all. Heaps of other uses and a whole lot quicker than other applicances. At the demo they did sorbet (1min), bread, risotto (about 20mins), hummus and custard (10mins)

Maybe I am justifying the price tag to myself but I would love to hear from other users

You should book a demo. There is no obligation to buy afterwards and worst comes to worst you get a free feed (I'm not selling these by the way and have no involvement with the company)

Hope it also does the dishes and cleans the worktops at that price! Hope you enjoy it.
