Am I doing enough?

Hi everyone. I am new MFP. I started a 1200 calorie diet last week and have been exercising 20 minutes daily (jogging/walking on my treadmill). My goal is to lose 15 pounds. I am 150 pounds give or take a few pounds.
If I continue this diet/exercise plan, will it pay off? Do I need to up my exercise in order to get the results I want?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Eat your exercise calories. 20 minutes is ok. Take rest day. Eat enough protein, be patient0

It will pay off. If you wan't a more toned figure with your weight loss then maybe throwing some weights on some days will help you with that.0

I think your plan will work just fine! It's how I started. I lost 5 lbs by walking on my lunch break and sticking to my calorie goal (1310). I averaged 1 pound a week. I fell off the wagon over the holidays and am starting back up again but am increasing my exercise.0
