Here's the deal. I'm 6 foot, 140 pounds if I'm lucky at night when I weigh myself. My wife's been researching and trying to feed me 4000 calories a day but I just can't seem to fit it in. Aside from drinking a gallon of milk. Also my wife eats whole foods plant based with very little meats involved. We prefer to get our protein from legumes and such. My diary is open if anyone wants to take a look see.
When I was younger the Dr. would tell me if I want to gain weight to eat peanut butter and drink Wendy's milk shakes. Other than that he said I just needed to eat. I find when i just eat to eat I gain in my belly and no where else.
My job does not allow me time for the gym necessarily. I have between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning to do any extra workouts for myself. I have P90X but it doesn't really put any muscle on me It just tones what I have.
So I'm hoping someone who's been there done that can help me. I've rucked a few times this year and come back with stress fractures in my hips and calves. I just really need to bulk up. I just started using MFP today even though I've been a member for a while. Any ideas on nutrition and work outs let me know. Appreciate it.
