Any recommendations for a good treadmill

I am looking for a good treadmill but don't want to take out a mortgage to pay for it...lol. Any suggestions of a good brand, pros, cons, strengths, weaknesses, ect.

Thanks

Coincidentally, I've had the same two treadmills. My mom had one when I lived at home and my husband found me one on craigslist that ended up being the same as my mom's! If you don't want to spend a lot, check out craigslist. That is where I got mine for $250 from an overweight couple who smoked...sadly, they probably needed it the most but I knew it wasn't being used and was in good condition.

I guess the question would be what are you looking for? Do you want inclines? Do you walk or run? Do you want to monitor your heart rate? For me, it was just walking (my husband uses the "dreadmill" if for some reason he can't run outside) and the incline. So, I got a ProForm Crosswalk GTS. $250 wasn't my mortgage. lol! Like I said, had the same brand and used it without any issues. Had this one that is used now for 3 years with no issues. It's a little louder than most treadmills so you have to blast the volume a bit if you have headphones or watching the tv.
